Painting on Fabric

I already experimenting on painting with sharpies and I decided to go a step further and paint with acrylics on fabric. The only problem with acrylic paint is that once dry it will turn the fabric hard and tough to handle so for a garment that is supposed to be worn I don't recommend this technique but instead for things like bags, aprons, table cloths, etc. It also works if you are planning on using mixed media in your journals.

summer lights

We decided to add some color and sparkle to our balcony this summer and make our dinners outside more cheerful :)

Materials:

- christmas lights

- muffin liners cut into flowers (i bought the already colored ones at Jo ann fabrics... They have 4th of July cupcake liners that would look cute too)

Open a whole in the cupcake liners and stick in each light
